Man of a Thousand Sketches
Please write or call if you have ideas.
I have discovered that people have to be their own salesperson. I am gambling that people want to buy my type of art and art services. People are bombarded with trillions of messages a day and take action on very few of them. I have art and art services as my product. My attraction is that art is a psychological event to see and interpret. I am seeking customers who have art ideas which I can help them with. I gamble that most people have art ideas and I can fulfill that need to keep art a positive force in their life. I offer both premade art and customized art which promises to give the right motivation to be happy and productive. I offer to work with customers quickly and efficiently with art to take home as the result. If the customers like my service, they may give referrals to other interested people. I am available by phone, email, or in person to create the take home art. I would like to gain reputation as an innovator in art as motivation psychology. I have been sketching and exhibiting for more than 20 years. I also offer video production services if customers would like to make videos as well. Customers can expect to tell me their story and I will provide art to keep their goals fresh and on record through simple art. Customers can share the art with others in order to communicate whatever is needed.

My product is needed by anyone who needs to create alliances with others. I have graphic design and financial experience. I can produce take home artwork which will bridge a communication gap in any way which a customer is lacking the right art. I belong to artist groups who meet monthly to both practice and discuss the field of art as it applies to them. The goal is to produce take home art which backs up the customer’s needs to communicate. It is an easy process. Just contact me and discuss what communication gap is troubling you, and quickly I will produce some take home art to solve that gap you have. I have a reputation of sketch art, in a cartoony style which can say what is needed for any problem situation. I have been developing sketch therapy for 20 years and have used this method on myself with great success in my family social, and professional life. Just think of how much can be taught across the gap you may have. A sketch can greatly shorten your communication process. What is the recipe that makes you, you? What symbols mark your identity, summarize your decision flowcharts, and state what your future holds? Sometimes, a sketch can quickly reach a deep level into the subconscious of yourself and picture of yourself to others. You might need to bridge a gap only one time, or come back to me for repeated sessions as your communication needs evolve over time. Sketch therapy can uncover the easiest way to define who you are and follow priorities that you yourself need reassurance with. I am competing with other types of professional organizers and time management systems, which promise to get you on track for your goals and communication of what you are thinking.

My business symbol is an artist at an easel waiting to make take home artwork for solving the communication problem at hand. I promise that you will be better positioned to communicate with my work with you and that others will know you better, which will cut down on missing the point between people. I am also noted for a robot character which I draw. I am noted for many sketches which cut to the chase of the issue. When people see me in person, I am known for my sketch ability. I am introduced as a sketch artist or for the work in video I do. My purpose is eliminate poor communication by providing art, which makes issues clear and give the motivation to stick to the goal. The reason to have taken home art is to get support which otherwise you may never have gotten. Man of a Thousand Sketches is founded on the mission to reduce missed points between people. As a type of therapy, it is unique because you will receive take home art instead of private and never seen or heard pictures of yourself. It is shorter than writing an article which people must read. It does not require any fancy language. Yet, it provides a needed point of contact on your image. As time changes, your image develops and changes with time. So, people need to keep up with your changing images. Almost immediately, you will take home a sketch or two which can clear the air. It is like having an advocate for who are. I am ready to work as a conduit between the people you know, or will be meeting in the future. In a short time, you can use the take home sketches to get the proper appreciation for what you are thinking and feeling. As you will have better communication, you will shorten your time of learning and earning money. Because, you will have tools to get your message said tastefully.

By working on your own sketch therapy with me, Man of a Thousand Sketches, you will have the documents(sketches) in your hand quickly. These sketches will benefit all who need to know you better. It is a process that says you are dedicated to clearing the air when gaps occur. These sketches can more than double your motivation by seeing your image in such a simple way. It is like a fancy painted portrait, but better, because it cartoony and holds more symbolic information including captions and words. You can include any life circumstances such as ups and downs of your image over time. Consider that you are working with a creative artist who just wants you to be happy by correcting missed points which may have occurred between people. I hope to work with individuals, therapists, inner-children, parents, students, etc.. I can work over the computer, telephone, or in person, etc. Having the unique offering I give, by giving take home art, very few other competitors offer this service. I have a strong sense of written language and sketch ability which I have been doing for 20 years. There are not very many subjects which I cannot aid to say quickly. I consider myself a professional who can work on a one time session, or many sessions over time. I have used this method on myself and want to share the craft with others. In your mind, can there be issues to be cleared up? Would you like to double your motivation? Be more commutative to benefit yourself and others? Man of a Thousand Sketches can help.

If you do not think you need this service, then you have confidence in your communication abilities. You feel satisfied with the speed and efficiency of getting your messages across. If you do not need help in being compatible with others, then you are doing great. However, that is not everybody. Sometimes, a person needs the absolute fastest and efficient way to take advantage of a small communication window of time. Sometimes, we only have a few seconds, or minutes, and could use a tool, such a sketch. Sketching can show many interrelationships that make a point by being displayed correctly. And, because the sketch is a take home sketch, it can be used immediately to get the gap fixed. I can attest, that the more gaps you have, the less you will be understood properly. And, the practical side is that the sketch can be saved for any amount of time you need it. Your sketches can be sent over the computer, by mail, or by hand – anywhere the gap needs to be closed. Sketch therapy by Man of a Thousand Sketches stands behind his work. People change over time and need to update other people as these changes occur. Some people change religions, get married, etc.
So, their image is usually changing in some way. I attest that the use of sketch therapy can help from backslides or just being stuck in one place. I can attest that sketch therapy is very potent in how your mind works and is useful in figuring out problems. The basics are very simple: Using a cartoony style to capture the essence of a communication bridge which did not exist before. I think 1 out of 10 people can be helped by this service. Current interest is growing which makes this a good field to be in.

Man of a Thousand Sketches, Todd Nonken, listens to the issues of a communication gap (which can be within yourself) and easily makes a remedy. I often see this gap in families who suffer much from the demands of giving attention to each other in the right way. Bad communication can put families in crisis. Often, the problems put them in therapy either as an individual, family, or marital counseling. My pragmatic offering is to be used as a substitute or aid to such counseling. My pragmatic way is to bridge the gap between friends, family, and also seeing a therapist. I sell my service direct to people through word of mouth and giving art samples and free services. I may be writing a book concerning the role of creativity in life planning. There are other methods of bridging the communication gap such as needing therapy, using religion, going to school, self-help books, or by working on this yourself. Myself included, these methods are good at bridging the gaps, which should create motivations and spirits of cooperation. My offering is pen and paper. This has been around for thousands of years. In most cases, there will always be some element that produces a gap to be closed. It is for the better that these gaps be closed. My method can be used immediately and can close the gaps fast. God is a loving God and does not want to see a problem when a small sketch can cure it easily. The image you may relate to is the image of praying hands, or sitting in mediation, etc. 1 out of 10 people need this service. I can only offer this to the people I meet or are referred to.

So, it is worth a try. Now that you have read the basic facts, I hope you contact me for your needs. You can expect a cartoony style from a 20 year history of sketching I have done. I hope to close a gap in your system of relationships. I hope to double your motivation on your goals and help other people understand you and the changes you are going through. It comes down to the switch to economics. How important is closing the gap? Can you put a price on the better understanding? In general, I do pen and ink in black and white, but have no problem adding color if asked to. I especially want to help families and generate interest in this field. Second, I want to help therapists understand the issues, deep or superficial, in people’s lives. In general, I just want to get the facts out there on this field. Now that you have read this material, I want you to try it. I have free samples. Another project I am working on is an article called, “Family Finish Line”. It is another angle at using sketches in group dynamics. By using captions and catch phrases, along with sketches, I am developing a strong premise that children learn to understand leaving home to the bigger economic picture. I hope to have a grasp of the psychology of many different gaps which are common, and need not be a problem. There are many issues of truth and falsehood and these should be bridged for the well being of people who need to get along with each other. Finally, no project is too small. I hope that once you try the take home art, you will see the results and want to keep periodically doing it again.

I will execute your sketches quickly. Such as drawing a garden of you investments with the symbols of flowers or vegetables. Another idea may be to show a cartoon of the voice of God speaking to you. I have a great library of symbols – piggy banks, lighthouses, dominoes, playing poker, different animals, etc. I have been writing captions and labels for many years, too. I can caption and label the symbols as needed to get the point across. For instance, each flower can be given a name of your choice. A lighthouse may be labeled with a word that gives you guidance. I can sketch a pathway, and you can tell me what is on the path. These sketches will be surprisingly simple, but between the sketch and the captions and labels, they will be uniquely yours. My goal will be to make a sketch that says things about you, which may have taken years to explain if you were in control of the message. My role is a middleman who will create a sketch to show others, or to keep private for you. It is similar to a characture, but with better and additional information. If you like to go a gypsy fortune teller, or read your horoscope, this is better. This will be you, as you explain yourself to be. I can draw a mirror, and you can have captions to go with it. By doing some experimenting, you can have any sketch you think you need. More important, you can make a sketch that other’s need about you. I can draw sketches of a tornado and write why that tornado is bothering you. I have been doing this on myself for 20 years. So, I have an excellent array of options. Because I can sketch fast, I can sketch a whole bunch of sketches for you in a single session. I do not expect anything in return, except spread the word about me and this valuable field of art.
PAGE 9
Having done this therapy on myself for 20 years, I know that I will still be doing it for myself in the future 20 years. Once I started getting good at it, I found out it is a great lifetime skill. I have helped myself in creating a good life, better symbolism, and overall, more control over information that matters to me. The greatest benefit, however, is the ability to share with others. Very few people have the option of making pictures and captions about what they are saying – trying to get across to others. I can say that it may be an invasion of privacy to reveal personal information. However, the sketch can be made without any personal invasion. We cannot be totally invisible, so the appearance we do give will, in some way, get out. Why not use the sketch to practical communications? Maybe you like your privacy. If that is the case, then sketch therapy is not for you. It takes the willingness to reveal a certain image about your need to close a certain gap. But I see families all the time who are miles apart. Also, just another sketch may only close one gap. When in fact there are always many more. That is why I think that repeating the sketching process is the best way to evolve as issues change. Making new sketches as situations evolve. I have seen my own sketches reach into dead ends, but I am glad to know that I found out soon enough. What I am trying to say is that I have learned greatly about the art of diplomacy – and the diplomacy created by art. Which is why I say that sometimes it is better to keep sketches to one’s self? This decision is dependent on where a person is diplomatically and the subjects of his/her sketches.
PAGE 10
What I have found is that if you are successful using sketch therapy on the first time, then you are ready to do it again. It means you have the diplomacy worked out ahead of time. Remember, the goal is close the gap, not widen it. It is only another language to use or abuse. A lot of communication gaps stir up emotions. Also, it is possible that the sketch is not a problem, but the receiver is seeing it wrong. If the sketch closes the gap peacefully the first time, then why not make another sketch. It becomes an accepted tool, not a weapon. Another point is that some people are stubborn. And the gap maybe never be closed. There are always going to be gaps. Some close easily, and some do not. The majority of my sketch projects are somewhere on the diplomatic spectrum. Each issue is a different level of sensitivity. As you can see, there is never enough time or situations to explain your whole vast opinion base. It is an art to know when to express your opinions or actual facts on a given subject. It is a matter of predicting how sensitive the receiver is. Will the receiver get mad or hurt? We do not want that. Sketch therapy can be useful if the group involved has a peaceful relationship to begin with. In some cases, it can create the peace that was never present, but it cannot help if the group is already too unstable. On the up side, the sketches can be saved and perhaps at a later time be seen differently. Also on the up side, the sketches can be redone to the group’s satisfaction as a team. I suggest that you use this method with the attitude that it can work some good. Since I have been at sketching for a long time, I know many safe templates to use.
PAGE 11
It is my hope that you are considering Man of a Thousand Sketches sketch therapy for gaps that are peaceful and need only a small correction. Not everybody likes each other’s way of thinking. It is when there is a bad misunderstanding when a sketch will correct the errors. Or, it must be made clear that there are boundaries which have a good chance of peaceful correction. Sketching is considered a freedom of speech. It must be acknowledged as a statement on the table. The key is to use sketches as helpful statements as you use in any other language. It is not the time to use battle tactics. It is good to see sketch therapy as a form of entertainment that you share with your group. It should be helpful like a documentary on PBS. The difference is that the documentary is made to bridge the gap with actual issues in your life. Many gaps can be closed with simple means – the right picture and words. I am often surprised by the small things which gain negativity and tumble into an argument. On the other hand, I see small things which bring great joy as well. All relationships have ups and downs and I hope that honesty in being a good person will have the relationships return to joy even when given a disruption. My own behavior has changed as result of sketching. I have seen my problems differently, and seen other people’s points of view clearer. It has become fun to plan ahead what sketches can do for me positively. I have found that I am not always so particular and picky about my issues. I remember that I can use sketches in the positive way God intended. I see that in many ways I should respect other people, and this means how I treat current or future gaps.
PAGE 12
It is always important to address people’s core values. This means you should get to know their likes and dislikes. And then, make the art that makes them happy. Therapy art is not selling anything. It is revealing how you think. Or have thought in the past. Or how you intend to think in the future. I hope that by using art everybody can steer away from their conflicts. But on the other hand, art is suitable to express dissatisfaction with any issue on the table. It can be used to show many resolutions all at once. This enables the group to pick and choose the resolutions from many choices. There are so many applications of how art is used in negotiated settlements that it can take years to learn all the techniques. However, if you want to try to use art in negotiations, then I am all for this. Certainly, without language of all types there would be no form of communication to use. I have been trying for many years to be respectful of the communication I give. This includes behavior as a language. If you are lucky enough, then you may have an impact or influence over the behavior of your group. Many times, to start influencing a behavior, you must communicate first. And, you may strike contracts of how the group will behave. Again, art can give behavioral data of what is tabled for contract. So, you can see that when I offer sketch therapy, there are many considerations. The serious nature I have told you about is not likely to cause any trouble.
But I think you should be aware of it. Contact me for any other ideas whether you want my sketch therapy or not. I am interested in what everyone thinks. In the balance, my knowledge and skills will benefit from feedback.
