Sketch Therapy Course Outline

Session 1: Determining your sketch needs

What can better-sketching do for you?   Add skills, politics,             book, or film preparations?  Develop your artist-purposes.

Session 2:  Starting Your First Work

Based upon your artist purposes – what should the first work be?  And how to start making the concept…Deciding symbols, language, and keeping the process as easy as possible.

Session 3:  Seeing Different Versions

Based upon making several sketch-versions of the same thing -learning from your drafts, learning to be patient, and having the first-big “showing of your work”.   Showing -off the first attempts – seeing how the potential of the medium is beneficial to keeping-up your sketching skills.

Session 4:  Begin Custom Education…. From here, you will be treated as a customized client - as your ideas are different from other people.             See You Then!!!

BEGIN HERE:  Man of a Thousand Sketches says:

Picture What Your Sketchbook Needs….

Anything from self-help, meditations, your story-ideas, or film-preparations……Where are you headed with your artist purpose?

Session 2:

Once you know what to sketch, which takes some forethought, (this comes from your artist purpose) - making several-versions of the same thing will be required.  This allows you to try several sketches.  It is best if you do something meaningful – right off the bat.  Many beginning artists do not try their most meaningful messages, but a few extra-sketches-to-get-ready are what I advise.

Session 3:

This is the big moment.  - To decide from your samples and experiments which to show-off.   The main goal in session 3 is to enjoy how the sketch medium is so easy.  Session 3 makes or breaks a further use of sketching.  Hopefully, if Session 3 works for you, you will continue to custom teaching.  This is a great time to expand any goals – because you have caught the bug of sketching as a legitimate tool in your kit.  Like a pencil, the tool can make anything stemming from the mind.  I have decided that custom teaching at this point is the best use of the Man of a Thousand Sketches resource.   So, each client who goes forward will be guided to their best work as fast as possible.  It is normal to begin dreaming of all that great art you can do.

Session 4: Custom Education in Sketching…

What does it mean to customize your sketching?

How can fast progress be fostered?

You can stop at any time and email at any rate…your choice!

I am available to help and give lessons based upon your individual goals.  The fastest way to use sketching is to be taught about the message.  To start with the highest good it can do.  Sketching is very flexible in what it can do.  - Everything from stick figures, story-ideas, to complete comics, to film-preparation.  Below is an example of where these ideas may come from.  I hope you enjoyed so far what you have learned.  The next step is a big-one – to keep up your interest and try the course at any rate you choose to email.  Also, I encourage that anybody forward this course advertisement to your family and friends.  I am ready to teach you.
